| Jurying this exhibition was a pleasure and a privilege. The sheer variety of work is illustrative of a thriving glass community! Vital forms, strong graphics and harmonious compositions reflect these artists’ shared passion — glass. Superb artisanry and craftsmanship, along with an inherent understanding of the material and its potential are among the characteristics that distinguish this year’s award winners. From the decorative to the functional, the sculptural to the conceptual, all engage us with refined sensibilities. |
